SELENA COPELAND
FLMI, RHU, REBC
Vice President & C.F.O. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in 1982 from Oklahoma State University,
Selena started her career in insurance in 1984 as a New York Life Agent in southeast
Oklahoma. She joined the Employee Benefits division of Integrated Financial of Texas
partnership in 1987. In 1989, when the division was incorporated, Selena was named Vice
President of Operations of Integrated Employee Benefits, Inc. She went on to become C.F.O.
and a shareholder of the corporation when the remaining shareholders were bought out in
1994.
Experienced in most facets of employee benefits, Selena now primarily
specializes in benefit programs for mid-size to large employers. Her clients include many well-known Dallas employers.
Selena has been awarded, with distinction, the (FLMI) Fellow of Life
Office Management designation, specializing in group insurance. In addition she has also
received the (RHU) Registered Health Underwriter and (REBC) Registered Employee Benefits
Consultant designations.
Selena has been active in the Dallas Association of Health
Underwriters. She served on the Board of Directors for 6 years as Education Chair and
Membership Chair, and was elected Vice President in 1992. She also served as the Education
Chair for the highly acclaimed 1997 Annual State Symposium for the Texas Association of
Health Underwriters.
Also active in the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Selena has served
as Co-Chair of the Health Issues Committee and oversees the Health Connections health
insurance program developed by Integrated Employee Benefits, Inc. which is endorsed by the
chamber and is exclusive to chamber members. |
